In a case of life imitating art, a heroic dog that was rescued from a sewer in Easton, Pennsylvania, has been given a name inspired by the popular 'Ninja Turtles' franchise. According to local reports, the dog was found stranded in a sewer by a passerby who immediately called for help. The fire department arrived on the scene and successfully rescued the pup, who was unharmed but clearly distressed. In a heartwarming gesture, the rescuers decided to name the dog after one of the four heroic turtles from the popular children's cartoon and movie franchise. The dog was christened 'Leonardo', after the blue-masked leader of the ninja turtles. While some may find the naming choice a bit silly, the rescuers insist that it's a fitting tribute to the dog's bravery and the heroic efforts of the firefighters who saved him. In the world of Chuck Shepherd's "News of the Weird," this story is hardly out of place. After all, we've seen dogs named after...
