🚓🍁 SUPER TROOPERS 3: YES, I’LL WATCH IT… EVENTUALLY

A guilty pleasure confession from someone who knows better but does it anyway.

Let me just say this upfront: When the Broken Lizard boys announce Super Troopers 3, something inside me wakes up — something feral, something chaotic, something that whispers, “You’re gonna watch this nonsense, aren’t you?”

And the answer is: Yes. But also no. But also probably. But also only if it’s free or if I somehow end up at a movie theater by accident.

Because let’s be honest — Super Troopers is not high art. It’s not cinema. It’s not even “movie night with dignity.”

It’s a guilty pleasure, the kind you don’t admit to strangers unless they look like they also laugh at jokes involving maple syrup, cat game pranks, and grown men yelling “MEOW” at highway drivers.

🍺 Why Super Troopers Still Works

There’s something magical about watching a group of fully grown adults behave like the world’s most irresponsible law enforcement officers. It’s comfort food for the brain — greasy, ridiculous, and absolutely terrible for you.

Broken Lizard has this special talent for making you laugh at things you KNOW you shouldn’t laugh at. They’re like the friend who hands you a beer and says, “Watch this,” and you already know you’re about to witness something stupid, illegal, or both.

And you still watch. Because you’re invested. Because you’re trash. Because you’re one of us.

🎬 Super Troopers 3: What Do I Expect?

Chaos. Shenanigans. More shenanigans. A plot that barely holds together. A villain who probably shouldn’t be a villain. A chase scene involving something that shouldn’t be chased. And at least one joke that makes me question my life choices.

In other words: Exactly what I want.

🎟️ Will I See It in Theaters?

Look… If the stars align… If the weather is good… If I find my car keys… If the ticket price doesn’t make me faint… If I’m already out of the house for some unrelated reason…

Then yes. Maybe. Possibly. We’ll see.

But let’s be real — I’ll probably end up watching it at home when it’s free, wearing sweatpants, eating something I shouldn’t, and laughing way too hard at jokes that would get me canceled in 14 states.

🍁 Final Thoughts

Super Troopers 3 doesn’t need to be perfect. It doesn’t need to be profound. It doesn’t need to win awards.

It just needs to be fun, stupid, and exactly what Broken Lizard does best — a comedy that feels like hanging out with your most chaotic friends.

And yes… I’ll watch it. Eventually. Meow.
